I’ll be at Place. People. Purpose., a two-day symposium presented by the Haan Museum of Indiana Art, September 28–29!

The symposium brings together artists, educators, scholars, students, and community members to explore the ways art can connect us to place, identity, and one another. And I especially love that the experience goes beyond lectures. You’ll also have opportunities to get outside, make art, explore the museum, and participate creatively.

On Tuesday, September 29, from 3:15–4:45 PM, I’ll be leading Painting in the Sculpture Garden and Gallery Sketching.

We’ll spend the afternoon drawing and painting from the Haan’s collection and beautiful grounds, with an emphasis on curiosity, observation, and the experience of creating...not perfection. No experience is necessary. Just come ready to explore and make something!
