As spring approaches, I find myself returning again and again to a simple idea:

Creativity is not about perfection.

It’s about presence.

It’s about allowing color to move across a canvas, letting a melody unfold on the piano, or sharing an evening of music with others who appreciate the beauty of the moment.

Wherever this season finds you, I hope you give yourself a little space to create in whatever form that may take.

Maybe it’s painting.
Maybe it’s music.
Maybe it’s simply noticing the changing light outside your window.

Sometimes the smallest creative moment is the one that opens the door to something new.

And spring is always a beautiful time to begin.
